Harry Kane scored brace alongside one each from Maguire and Henderson as England beat Ukraine 0-4 to set up semi final clash against Denmark in Euro 2020.
First Half Match Report Ukraine 0-1 England
It was an amazing first half encounter which saw just one goal being scored between the two teams who had so much firepower going forward.
Tottenham striker, Harry Kane opened the scoring as early as in the 45th minute after being assisted by Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling to give England a 0-1 lead in the match.
Ukraine did push forward with everything possible to ensure they could staged a comeback which failed and proved very difficult to get as the match progressed with them facing so much pressure to defend.
Nothing to show from both teams despite all their efforts to change the scoreline with the first 45 minutes entering into the last stages with additional time already counting down.
The first half of the encounter ended with England taking a slender lead 0-1 against Ukraine as they both settled in for the break which saw a good 1st 45 minutes played between themselves.
Second Half Match Report Ukraine 0-3 England
The second half was a disaster for the Ukrainians who couldn’t get a grip of what was going on as the Three Lions ripped them apart with more goals flying in, past their goalkeeper and defense.
Manchester United defenders of Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire teamed up to increase the lead to 0-2 against Ukraine in the 49th minute which the former Leicester City center back made it count.
England looked done and dusted, but yet as the game progressed, Harry Kane made it his brace in the 50th minute to make the scoreline tuned into 0-3 for the Three Lions who ensured everything was going well.
Liverpool midfielder, Jordan Henderson made it 0-3 in the 63rd minute, which came after Chelsea attacker, Mason Mount stepping up to make the assistance for the goal which killed off the match for their opponent.
More action but no goal to report as England claimed a massive 0-4 win to advance into the next round with the Three Lions setting up a date with Denmark in the semi final of the Euro 2020.
