The UEFA Champions League round of 16 has been held today and all clubs have already confirmed who they are up against, MySportPlug Reporting.
Champions of Europe Chelsea will be going up against Lille in the round of 16 after being drawn to face the group leaders who finished top alongside RB Salzburg.
Finalist Manchester City are up against Villarreal which could be another dicey game for Pep Guardiola who will be looking to win this season UEFA Champions League by all means possible.
Bayern Munich takes on Atletico Madrid while Paris Saint Germain go down against in one of the biggest showdown which will be happening in the round of 16 next year.
So much to be talked about as Manchester United are up against Paris Saint Germain who will give them a good ride for their money as they also would be seeing this tournament as the one they could go all out and win.

GROUP A
Manchester City and Paris Saint Germain made it through as 1st and 2nd placed from the group which also included RB Leipzig with Club Brugge who finished 3rd and 4th respectively.

At least each clubs were able to record a win in the UEFA Champions League group A which Red Bull Leipzig will now be heading into the Europa League after finishing as 3rd best team.

This group was seen as one of the deadliest in the UEFA Champions League 2021-22 when the draws was made but unfortunately Liverpool found it easy as they beat everyone home and away to finish top without a loss.

It wasn’t so good for AC Milan who made a return to the tournament only to crash out with making it out alongside Porto who their fate was sealed during the last games which could have seen them advance.

Based on how Borussia Dortmund team was, many tipped them to finish as number one but unfortunately they didn’t make it out of the group as they finish third despite thrashing Besiktas in their final match.

Ajax cleaned off all their opponent both home and away to win every of their games in the UEFA Champions League group stages which was an easy ride for them with Sebastian Haller scoring load of goals.

It was all about Real Madrid getting the job done despite getting the shock of their life after losing against new comers Sheriff, but they bounced back by winning all other games.

As expected the two teams who were tipped to make it through got the job done without needing to stress too much as Sheriff pulled one of the biggest surprises by finishing off with 7 points.

It was a shock in this group which saw Barcelona unable to make it out despite Bayern Munich being the only big team from Europe alongside Benfica and Dynamo Kiev who makes them four teams.
