Romelu Lukaku To Chelsea – New Offer On The Table (DETAILS)

Chelsea looking to make a new bid for Romelu Lukaku after their first offer was turned down by Inter Milan who might change their mind in allowing player leave, MySportPlug reports.

Chelsea is now eager to land a move for the Belgium striker who is now being seen as the main target and not Erling Haaland which has been a problem for them since trying to get the Norwegian from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Another bid is being prepared by Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku who could be moving to Stamford Bridge for the second time after his first spell ended in some loan move before he was sold and ended up with Inter Milan where he was on fire last season.

According to Romano Fabrizio, Chelsea is set to make another bid of around €120/130 million to Inter Milan after the first offer which was €100 million including Marcos Alonso was being turned down without consideration.

“Chelsea are preparing a new bid to sign Romelu Lukaku this summer after opening proposal. – New bid expected at around €120/130M from Chelsea after the first one was turned down by Inter [€100M + Marcos Alonso involved in the deal].

Chelsea is now also offering Lukaku a long-term contract for €12M net per season as salary. – Now Inter Board waiting for an official proposal from Chelsea to take a decision together with Lukaku’.

Chelsea will be looking to sign a striker this summer window as they have failed in their attempts to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund which have now taken them to Inter Milan for Lukaku who is also reportedly not available in the transfer market.

Romelu Lukaku is now being seen as the option which they could be getting to sign this summer with a new offer in place and set to be officially brought forward to Inter Milan who will be looking to consider if the price is right for them to accept.

The deal will see the Belgian earn an increase in his salary from €7 million to €12M if a deal is reached with the Champions League winners who will be willing to go all out this time in making sure they can complete the move.

Finalizing this move could mean they won’t be making any attempt for Erling Haaland who his price will fall next summer with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City will all be fighting to sign.
