FT: Wolves 0-0 Chelsea (English Premier League) 2021-22 | HIGHLIGHTS

Chelsea once again failed to get all their points as they were held to a 0-0 goalless draw against Wolves to remain 3rd on the English Premier League table, MySportPlug reporting.

It wasn’t an easy one for the Blues who had to go into the game knowing they never wanted it to go ahead but were forced to play the encounter which saw them missing more players.

The outcome of the game could have been different but they had to settle for this one which they are going back home to prepare ahead of their next encounter which will be going down during the midweek.

Wolves Vs Chelsea

Ahead of kickoff, Chelsea were hit with more blow as Kai Havertz was also tested positive for covid-19 leaving him out of the encounter which wasn’t a good one as they had less substitutes.

Wolves were the side who dominated things in the early minutes which saw them pressing their opponent who weren’t that good in their defending as it carried on.

The Blues went down in the 15th minute when Daniel Podence scored a goal which was eventually called back for VAR to review and it was ruled out for offside after few minutes of proper check by the Video Assistant Referee.

The first half carried on with more pressure as the Londoners managed to create an opportunity which saw Christian Pulisic unable to make it past the goalkeeper for the goal.

Things ended in the first half of the encounter with Wolves holding Chelsea to a 0-0 goalless scoreline after 45 minutes of football which wasn’t a good one for Thomas Tuchel’ side.

The second half wasn’t looking good as it started with the same way it was in the first 45 minutes of the encounter which was dominated by the home side Wolves who had more of the shots on and off target.

Chelsea looked a bit better as they started to apply a bit of pressure against their opponent who looked lost as they couldn’t get control of things while the Blues continued to push more.

The Champions of Europe could have opened the goal scoring but Wolverhampton goalkeeper was equal to the task by making a good save which kept the scoreline still on 0-0 goalless affair.

Christian Pulisic and Mason Mount had glorious opportunities of making it count but managed to missed out on scoring which could have made it at least the advantage to them as the game progressed.

The match couldn’t provide anything much as it came to an end with Wolves 0-0 Chelsea which could have been more but unfortunately they had to settle for the way it was after 90 minutes.
