Former Chelsea man Tammy Abraham scored a brace to help AS Roma beat CSKA Sofia 2-3 to finish top of the group in the Europa Conference League, MySportPlug reporting.

The England International was the man on top form in the encounter which saw him making sure it was all about him getting the job done for his side won’t managed to grab all three points.

It was a good game which also saw Borja Mayoral getting one of the goals to seal off the win which sees them making it through into the next round of the Europa Conference League.

Good start to the first half for Jose Mourinho’s side who dominated things from kickoff as they push forward hoping to land an early goal which proved difficult to come by as it progresses.

First 10 minutes of the first half saw CSKA Sofia holding the Italian side who couldn’t find a breakthrough despite all their attempts on goal which all led to nothing happening for them as it carried on.

A goal from Tammy Abraham in the 15th minute changed things for Roma who took a 0-1 lead thanks to an incredible build up from play which saw Rick Karsdorp providing the assistance that led to the good finish.

The match carried on with more coming from the visitors who were determined to score all the goals they need to be scored early in the encounter as they had plans of making sure they finish top of the group with a win.

Borja Mayoral 34th minute goal increased the lead for the Serie A side to 0-2 which the build up wasn’t that easy like the first finishing was, a good delivery from Matias Vina did the damage as the forward just easily made it count.

Another goal once against for Abraham who made it his brace in the 53rd minute and scoreline 0-3 after teaming up again with Rick Karsdorp who provided the assist to make it his second for the night win the encounter.

Roma dropped a bit after the 3rd goal as the home side began to pressure them until Hamza Catakovic 75th minute finish gave them something as the scoreline turned 1-3 moving forward into the final stages.

The match produced another goal which came late in the 90th minute plus added time from Yanic Wildschut who made things 2-3 as the game wrapped up with a nervous ending for the side who claimed all three points.
