FT: Atalanta 1-4 Roma, Tammy Abraham BRACE! | HIGHLIGHTS

Chelsea Academy graduate Tammy Abraham was on target twice again as he helped Roma beat Atalanta 1-4 away from home, MySportPlug reporting.

It was an amazing game for the ex-Blue striker who scored the opening goal of the encounter with just one 1minutes into the match which was one of his latest finishes for the season.

Former Manchester United defender Chris Smalling was also on target in the match which saw Nicolo Zaniolo hit the target as the visiting side made sure they got the job done without stressing.

A good start into the game for Roma who didn’t want much time as Tammy Abraham scored in the 1st minute to make the scoreline 0-1 after kickoff which resulted in the goal.

The match carried on with Atalanta unable to decode their opponent who made sure they didn’t give the home side any chance of understanding what was going on the pitch.

Nicolo Zaniolo made it 0-2 in the 27th minute of the game after another good display saw them bossing things until Jordan Veretout setup the assistance which was brilliantly finished.

It was looking all good for the visitors who were enjoying themselves on the pitch as they continued making sure they dominate things while they held onto their advantage.

Bryan Cristante pulled on back in the 45th minute plus additional time which unfortunately saw him scoring in his own net to make things 1-2 for the home side as they headed for the break with the scoreline.

The second half was even better than the first 45 minutes of the game which saw more goals being scored by Roma who continued to boss things pushing for more goals.

Atalanta did everything possible to seal off their defense which wasn’t easy for them but they managed to do so as the encounter progressed further with so many opportunities wasted.

Palomino scored in the 68th minute of the second half but unfortunately it was called back by VAR which a review was done and the goal was ruled out leaving the scoreline to remain 1-2.

Chris Smalling scored to increase the lead for the away side to 1-3 after another outstanding teamwork saw Jordan Veretout making his second assist of the encounter in the 72nd minute.

Tammy Abraham sealed a brace for himself in the 82nd minute making the scoreline 1-4 with an amazing finish which gave the England International another goal yet again as he continues his good form.

The encounter ended with Atalanta losing 1-4 to Roma who climbed into 5th position in the Italia Serie A table hoping Fiorentina fails to win for them to remain on that place for the matchday.
