Barcelona president has just confirmed Ousmane Dembele to Chelsea move ahead of January deadline, MySportPlug reporting.
The Premier League side and Barcelona are said to be holding talks currently with things looking likely to happen after his club confirmed they won’t be needing him to stay with them after making some new signings already this January with more to come.
Barca president Joan Laporta has confirmed that Ousmane Dembele’s move to Chelsea is on the table of happening as things are already for both teams to come to an agreement which will also be based on Ousmane Dembele decision to accept a proposal made.
The Blues have been dull in the January transfer window despite them being linked with move for couple of big names including Sevilla defender Jules Kounde who they almost signed during the summer window last year 2021 but everything collapsed on deadline day due to transfer fee.
Chelsea are now hoping to strike a deal on another deadline for Ousmane Dembele who’s club president already confirmed and okayed the switch from happening pending things are complete personally with the player and his agent who also are keen on seeing it go well.
Thomas Tuchel once worked with the France International during his stint at Borussia Dortmund before he was scouted by the laliga side who signed him for a record breaking fee which was the biggest mistake of the player career as he couldn’t live up to expectations.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed words coming from Barcelona President Joan Laporta concerning Ousmane Dembele move to Chelsea which he said it all depends on the player who is already in talks with a Premier League which was earlier reported to be Chelsea.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta on Aubameyang: “It seems that we will pull it off [Aubameyang deal]. Ousmane Dembélé? Various solutions have been proposed, the last one depends on whether the player accepts it, it is to go to an English club”, he told Mundo Deportivo”.
A move being completed for Chelsea depends on time with few hours left before the January window closes and if details are not fully signed, completed and registered before time, it will be considered as a no contract reached between both clubs who are 100 percent optimistic an agreement will be reached.
