Chelsea are currently leading the race to sign Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt who is also being linked with a move to Real Madrid and Barcelona next summer.
The Blues have shown strong interest in landing the former Ajax player who has been struggling at Turin since making the switch which was tipped to be his breakthrough move of his career.
