The Spanish side hope to invest in a new right-back to offer cover for Dani Carvajal and Carlo Ancelotti has asked president Florentino Perez to make a move for James who has been exceptional since joining the senior team.
Perez hopes to solve two problems in one go by bringing in James and offloading Hazard back to the club they signed him from as part of the same deal which they hope to see happen ahead of the January transfer window 2022.
Although Roman Abramovich would be happy to bring Eden Hazard back to London, he does not want it to come at the expense of one of his team’s star players leaving the club when knowing how old the Belgian is as of now.
If this deal is the only option left, the Blues wont be looking to allow such happen as they know Reece James is worth more than Eden Hazard who does not have more year’s to offer in him than the England International.
