Chelsea made light work of Man United 3-1 in the Women Continental League Cup game which saw Pernille Harder scoring the opening goal, MySportPlug reporting.
It was an encounter that saw the Manchester United Women getting a red card late in the second half after the Blues already put three goals past them with the Red Devils pulling one back which saw both teams enjoying the first half of the clash.
So much could have happened in the game which saw Samantha Kerr coming off from the bench after just joining the team from international duties with Australia national team, and she did also managed to give a good account of herself in the few minutes she played.

Man United Women pulled one back in the 32nd minute of the first half through an outstanding effort from Vilde Bone Risa beating the goalkeeper in a ridiculous angle to make the scoreline 2-1 as things were shaping up fine for both teams on the pitch.
It went from bad to worst for the visiting side as they went down further in the 39th minute through a sweet finish from Jessica Carter who made no mistake as she smashed one in for the Blues as they ended the first half with Chelsea Vs Man United Women playing a 3-1 scoreline as they headed for the break.
The second half of the encounter was a cagey affair which saw both teams doing well enough to keep each other off from making anything happen with more credits going to the defenders and goalkeepers from both teams in the 45 minutes.
