Chelsea women continued their impressive run in the Super League as they beat Brighton And Hove Albion 3-1 with goals from Reiten alongside Kerr and Bethany England, MySportPlug reporting.

An amazing display coming from Emma Haye’s side who thrashed Birmingham City 4-0 in the FA Cup encounter in a game which saw the Blues Women getting the job done once again after a bad start to the season.

The game was dominated by the home side who had everything working fine for them moving forward as the goals kept coming none-stop with the visitors also getting one of their which provided much entertainment.

Beautiful start from the Blues who ensure they give their opponent hard time touching the ball with them pushing forward with eagerness for an early goal which failed to happen immediately.

Guro Reiten gave Chelsea the lead in the 9th minute after the home side pressed on multiple occasions before she scored the opener from a nice buildup which saw the scoreline turned 1-0 with an assist from Fran Kirby.

Brighton And Hove Albion Women were also good as they controlled a fair share amount of the possession but they just couldn’t get near their opponent goalkeeper or think of attempting as it progressed.

Samantha Kerr made it 2-0 in the 26th minute of the encounter after another brilliant display from Fran Kirby who looped the ball from the midfield which the Aussie striker headed home for the second.

Nothing else came happened as the first half ended with Chelsea claiming a 2-0 advantage heading into the break against Brighton And Hove Albion who were unable to do anything.

Things carried on in the second half as the Blues struggled to keep things calm with their opponent pressing them for a goal that didn’t come as soon as possible for them.

Brighton And Hove Women pulled one goal back in the 47th minute through Carter who smashed one beating the goalkeeper for the scoreline turning 2-1 after a brilliant effort resulted in a good finishing.

It was looking hard for Chelsea who continued to dominate things and they made some changes which saw Bethany England coming on the pitch of play as the game continued.

The Blues increased their lead in the 79th minute after a good play saw Fran Kirby who finds Bethany England and the substitute takes one touch and blasts it into the top corner to make things 3-1.

The match came to an end with Chelsea claiming all three points as they recorded a 3-1 win against Brighton And Hove Albion who did well enough against the Champions of the League.
