Burnley is already setting up plans for Ross Barkley who they believe will be available when the 2022 transfer window opens.
The lower-ranked team are interested in making a move happen which might not be in the interest of the player to join a club that he won’t get much as they are currently struggling.
Chelsea have rarely given Ross Barkley enough playing time despite him showing so much quality in his cameo appearance which saw him made an assist that lead to a goal.
Burnley are hoping they could sign the midfielder on loan when the January window opens with them looking to add more quality to help them avoid relegating back to Championship.
Last loan move for the Chelsea midfielder was with Aston Villa were he showed so much quality but was dealt with injury blow which saw him sitting out some games which he could have played.
Chelsea fringe player Ross Barkley could escape Stamford Bridge for a January move to Burnley which could happen, according to claims coming through from the Sun.
The deal would likely be a loan rather than a permanent signing which could see him final leave Stamford Bridge after a not so good spell that hasn’t seen him getting much playing time leaving Everton.
The move would still allow Ross Barkley to prove himself ahead of next summer when a long-term exit option may be more likely present itself for the England International who has a lot to offer.
Chelsea bought the midfielder from Everton and since his return he was able to show some sign of brilliance until he was hit with injury which saw him lost his place in the team.
More injury forced Ross Barkley to fall down the picking order which he was eventually loaned out to Aston Villa where he still couldn’t sustain his consistency despite blowing hot in his first few games.
