BREAKING! Belgium 1-2 Italy Advance Into Euro 2020 Semi-Final

Italy has advanced into the semi-final of Euro 2020 after beating Belgium 1-2 with Barella and Insigne both on target alongside one from Lukaku, MySportPlug reports.

The first half of the encounter started good with both teams showing some good display of football and goals from both ends under 45 minutes.

Bonucci scored in the 13th minute but unfortunately, it was ruled out by VAR after review, which was later given as an offside during the buildup to the early goal in the game.

Belgium conceded another goal in the 31st minutes from Nicolo Barella who was set up by Marco Veratti, and this time the referee awarded it as the scoreline turned 0-1 in favor of the away team.

Lorenzo Insigne scored in the 44th minute to extend the lead after an amazing teamwork effort saw the forward increasing the lead to 0-2 with a beauty of a goal.

Romelu Lukaku converted from the penalty spot after a foul was awarded to the Red Devils which the Inter Milan man stepped up and made it count as the game processed with a 1-2 scoreline.

The first half ended with Italy heading into the break with all the advantage they need with hopes of them looking to carry on into the semi-final like Spain did.

The second half kicked off with lots of expectations from the Belgians who looked lively in the early minutes with the equalizer at the back of their mind to get.

Belgium pushes forward without Eden Hazard who didn’t make the team list due to his injury against Portugal where his brother scored the winner with a wicked strike.

Italian defender Spinazolla got himself injured after trying to get past his opponent but unluckily for him, he got something else as he was stretch off the game.

Nothing coming from both teams as they kept on playing each other hoping to make it all go in their favor as the Belgians were more eager to make a stunning comeback.

The match finally came to an end with Italy claiming the victory which saw them joining Spain in the semi final of Euro 2020 after a good win against Belgium.
